Ann Arbor is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Ann Arbor follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Dear Lucaโs Bakery Team, I wanted to take a moment to share my sincere appreciation for the exceptional customer service I recently experienced. I have been ordering from Lucaโs Bakery for the past few years, and you have consistently provided wonderful desserts and service. Recently, I ordered a cheesecake for a birthday celebration through DoorDash. The photo displayed showed it topped with strawberries; however, when it arrived, the strawberries were missing. I called the bakery and spoke with a staff member about the issue. Shortly after, the manager got on the phone and immediately took ownership of the situation. She not only offered to remake the cheesecake but went above and beyond by personally delivering a new one to my workplace. That level of care, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but how they are handled makes all the difference. The managerโs response turned a small disappointment into an experience that reminded me why I continue to support Lucaโs Bakery. Please extend my gratitude to her for her outstanding service. It did not go unnoticed. Warmly, Shaloea

I do not enjoy giving negative reviews at all however this one I must give. I was very disappointed with this place. The first thing is someone should tell the people working there that when your friends walk in and 8 customers are in front of them you shouldnโt help them first, thatโs rude! Secondly I had a lemon pฤ czki and itโs as hard as a rock. I wanted it to be good but it is absolutely not. The chocolate brownie thing is not a brownie at all itโs a cake, and also not that good. Sorry just wish it was better.

Everything is fantastic. From the cookies, cakes, and pastries to the subs. The cannoli lobster tail is out of this world and the semolina sub roll has great crust and structure. Cannot wait to come back for more.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered the Carrot Cake. Online description from their website says - Carrot Cake with house-made cream cheese filling, iced with vanilla buttercream. There was no cream cheese filling, everything was just the vanilla buttercream that was hard and solid as a rock making the cake impossible to cut and inedible to eat. That was the case for all the buttercream frosting inside and outside of the cake. It felt that the cake was very old as not only was the carrot cake part was really really dry and crumbling but the frosting was so solid it crumbled off in chunks as you can see in the photos attached. Not to mention that the flavor was really bad. In addition, half of the family got a big stomachache (food poisoning) after eating this cake so it seems to support the conclusion that we received old and stale carrot cake from Luca Pastry. Very disappointed and would love to support local businesses but I will never be ordering again and have never had a worse experience.
